JAZZ UP ! BELGIAN FOCUS

Jazz Up!, dispositif développé par Nancy Jazz Pulsations, est la toute première convention professionnelle dédiée aux artistes et professionnels qui font et soutiennent cette "nouvelle vague" d'un jazz réinventé par les musiques actuelles (hip hop, house, nu soul) qui a ré-émergé depuis bientôt 10 ans, catalysée en Angleterre et qui bouillonne maintenant à l’échelle de toute l’Europe. Jazz Up! revient en 2024 avec deux temps forts Jazz Up! : Belgian Focus à Bruxelles les 24 et 25 mai 2024 et Jazz Up! Europe à Nancy les 10 et 11 octobre 2024.

As part of the Loto Brussels Jazz Weekend program, the Jazz Up! : Belgian Focus convention will take place on Friday May 24 & Saturday May 25, 2024 in Brussels. A warm-up for the next edition of Jazz Up! Europe (to be held in Nancy on October 10 & 11 2024), it will focus on highlighting the dynamism of the Belgian "jazz up!" scene, which has been booming in recent years (ECHT!, TUKAN...). The aim is to bring together professionals from the fields of programming, touring, labels, management and publishing. The watchwords: showcases, talks, networking and clubbing over 2 days in collaboration with Belgian actors !
